Mātātuhi Designs was founded by Kelly who was born and raised in Auckland, with whakapapa tracing back to Ngā Puhi on her father’s side and Taranaki on her mother’s side.
The name "Mātātuhi", draws from the rich tapestry of the Māori language, embodying the essence of imprinting and design that echoes through generations.
Mātātuhi Designs specialise in crafting apparel and gifts that celebrate Aotearoa's indigenous culture. From intricately designed apparel items to drink coasters, each piece is a labour of love, meticulously produced with Māori language, traditional shapes & symbols, or both.

As the busy season approaches, we need to be mindful that couriers are in high demand. As advised by our courier partners if orders processed by the dates below, your items should be delivered before 25th December.
North Island

STORE PICK UP
Store Pick Up allows you to order online and pick up your order in-store, without incurring any delivery fees.
Your order will be ready the next business day, and our pick up hours are 10AM – 5PM Monday to Friday.

Shipping costs will be calculated and added at checkout.
Online orders are dispatched Monday to Friday.
Allow 3 - 5 business days for delivery within New Zealand (please allow an extra business day for South Island and Rural addresses).
Once your order has been collected by our courier, you’ll be notified via email and provided a tracking number. All orders/parcels are labelled as a “signature required” courier service for security purposes.
*Our standard shipping excludes PO Box, Waiheke island, Great Barrier island, Chatham island and Stewart island.
