When will I receive my order?+

We’ll process your order as soon as possible, and get it sent out for delivery. Within New Zealand, allow 5 working days for delivery. Within Australia, allow 10 working days and for the rest of the world, please allow up to 15 working days. View our shipping page for more information.

What are your delivery fees?+

Do you ship overseas?+

Yes, we do. Please note that for some countries additional taxes or import duties may be required, which are the responsibility of the recipient or purchaser. Visit our shipping page for more information.

Can I track my order?+

Yes, you’ll receive an email with a tracking link when your order has been fulfilled.

2023 December gifting cut-off - NZ courier deliveries+

As the busy season approaches, we need to be mindful that couriers are high demand. As advised by our courier partners if orders processed by Tuesday 12th December, your items should be delivered before 25th December.

What is your refund policy?+

All sales are final and we are unable to accept returns for change of mind. Refunds, including courier/shipping charges, are only provided if the order is incorrect or the goods are faulty and you comply with our requirements below. Our policies are the same both in store and online. View our full refund policy here.

How do I return an item?+

All faulty or incorrect items must be reported to us via email within three days of receiving delivery. Visit our returns page for instructions on returning faulty or incorrect products.

What forms of payment do you accept?+

We accept debit cards, credit cards and gift voucher payments in our online Store. We also accept cash, WePay and AliPay in our stores at the Museum. For corporate clients we can create a customer order that can be paid online with a credit or debit card. 

Do you offer gift wrapping and greeting cards?+

Yes, we do. Simply tick the box at the checkout to add a personalised card and gift wrapping for $3. You can enter a message that we will handwrite into a greeting card for you.

Do my purchases support the Museum?+

Yes, every purchase you make online and in-store helps us continue to be a world-class Museum and war memorial. It enables us to care for our precious taonga, carry out conservation work, create great exhibitions, deliver educational programmes in our galleries and the wider community. Your purchase also supports important research - Auckland Museum is New Zealand's oldest research institute.

Can you provide a discount for a bulk order?+

For bulk orders such as wedding favours, we can provide a 10% discount. Contact our team if you'd like to discuss a bulk order.

Can you help with recommending gifts for clients or staff?+

Do you offer corporate discounts?+

Do you sell gift vouchers?+

Yes, we now sell gift vouchers for our online store. Visit this page for more information. 

Do I need to use the whole amount of a voucher in one transaction?+

No. You’re able to use your voucher total over multiple transactions. If you want to find out the balance of a gift voucher, please contact us here and we will be able to let you know.

Can I use my voucher in your store at the Museum?+

Unfortunately not. As our online and instore systems differ, our gift vouchers are for online use only.

How long is my gift voucher valid?+

All gift vouchers are valid for 12 months from the date of purchase.

How do I purchase a Museum Membership?+

Have a read of this webpage, to decide which level of Membership is right for you, and sign up online or when you next visit the Museum ticket desk.

Do Museum Members receive a Museum Store discount?+

Yes! One of the perks of becoming a Museum Member is a discount in the store – Members get 10% off all purchases, excluding already discounted items. To learn about other Member benefits and to become a Member, visit this page.

How do I redeem a Members’ discount online?+

If you’re an existing Member wanting to make an online purchase, check your emails for the voucher code that has been emailed to you. Simply enter that code when proceeding with an online purchase, and your Members discount will be applied.
