Have fun working with this re-creation inspired by Leonardo da Vinci’s 15th century trebuchet! Based on his drawing from the Codex Atlanticus, da Vinci’s trebuchet was most likely designed for the Duke of Milan during the late 15th century. This model is assembled from pre-cut and pre-drilled natural wooden pieces, and includes clay balls which can be hurled over 4 metres. Suitable for ages 8+

Based on his drawing from the Codex Atlanticus, Leonardo da Vinci’s trebuchet was a design most likely made for the Duke of Milan during the late 15th century.

This model includes clay balls which can be hurled over 4 metres and the parts are pegged for extra strength. Easy to make with pre-cut pieces made from sustainable timber.
