These beautiful Dwarf Janthina Earrings are made from Sterling Silver handcrafted by Mark Sokolich based in West Auckland.
They are from "He Sales Sea Shells" range, which is made in Sterling Silver and 9ct Yellow Gold. The range evokes a simple day of beachcombing, walking and stopping to look and pick up objects as we walk along the shore, enjoying the beauty of the marine environment that needs to be conserved for future generations to enjoy.

These beautiful Dwarf Janthina Earrings are made from Sterling Silver handcrafted by Mark Sokolich.
These earrings are from "He Sales Sea Shells" range, which is made in Sterling Silver and 9ct Yellow Gold from shells with no live organisms and the original shell used in the moulds were returned to the beach after the use. These shells were all collected from Auckland's west coast beaches and the Manukau harbour area.
Mark Sokolich is a classically trained jeweler and goldsmith based in West Auckland with 43 years experience. His interest in Art and Metal work started in High school which lead to a classical Apprenticeship in jewellery, moving to working in design for a local New Zealand based Manufacturing Jewellrey. In 1991 Mark started his own Goldsmith studio doing commissions of Jewellery item for clients in Platinum, Gold, Silver and Precious stones.
Auckland's west coast beaches have been holding a special place in his heart. The beaches are only a short distance from a major city but are worlds apart. The Auckland isthmus - formed from volcanic activity and between the Tasman Sea and Pacific Ocean is a unique and special part of the world to visit and explore and the connection to the sea is everywhere.
