Take home this beautiful ceramic Whale Shark handcrafted by Lava Ceramics as a memento of our exhibition: Sharks!
Created by the Australian Museum, Sharks invites you to explore the fascinating, and often misunderstood, world of sharks.
Cari (Caroline) Quinn is the artist behind Lava Ceramics. With background in architecture and a lifelong passion for creativity, she discovered clay in her 40s and quickly fell in love with it.
Starting with a sculpture of her rescue dog, her work expanded into a playful collection of animal figures, each capturing the unique and cheeky characters of living creatures.
Made in New Zealand
Please note that each shark is handcrafted, so there could be slight variations in colour, size and design, making every piece unique.
STORE PICK UP
Store Pick Up allows you to order online and pick up your order in-store, without incurring any delivery fees.
Your order will be ready the next business day, and our pick up hours are 10AM – 5PM Monday to Friday.

Shipping costs will be calculated and added at checkout.
Online orders are dispatched Monday to Friday.
Allow 3 - 5 business days for delivery within New Zealand (please allow an extra business day for South Island and Rural addresses).
Once your order has been collected by our courier, you’ll be notified via email and provided a tracking number. All orders/parcels are labelled as a “signature required” courier service for security purposes.
*Our standard shipping excludes PO Box, Waiheke island, Great Barrier island, Chatham island and Stewart island.
