This beautiful Tipani Statement Brooch has been handcrafted from polymer clay by Leone Samu Tui - Samoa, Ngati Kahungunu ki Wairarapa from Aolele.
Named Tipani after the common motif found in tapa designs across the Pacific.
The handmade collection from Aolele injects fearless colour into celebrated Pacific motifs, embracing and reworking them as wearable pieces of art.
Their inspiration comes from alofa for contemporary Pacific art and heritage, and thier pieces are designed to be worn as triumphant declarations of love for Te Moana-Nui-a-Kiwa (Oceania).
