Michelle Bow
Born and raised in Tāmaki Makaurau, Michelle fell in love with clay at Auckland Teacher’s College 40 years ago and has been a fulltime ceramicist for 25 years. Her work weaves traditional crafts learnt in her youth with contemporary clay practice and is a tribute to the generations of artisans before her. A finalist and award winner of several national exhibitions, Michelle is honoured to have her ceramics in the Auckland Museum Store and galleries throughout Aotearoa.
