This beautiful Ember candle has been hand-poured and crafted from 100% natural, ethically sourced New Zealand beeswax, which is renowned for its hypoallergenic properties, clean, long burn, and soft natural scent.

Ember is a candle that celebrates the art of candle making. A nod to the grand homes and candlelit tables of centuries past, when wax was precious, and the air smelled softly of honeyed beeswax.

At first glance, Ember appears to rest on a matching holder. In truth, she’s a sculptural, freestanding form - a candle and base in one. Each piece is hand-poured in small batches using 100% pure New Zealand beeswax, then hand-finished and sealed with our signature gold wax stamp.

From mould creation to final polish, every detail reflects hours of careful work, designed to burn beautifully, slowly, and to stand proudly as a modern heirloom.


Scented Fable was born from a deep love for history, tradition, and meaningful rituals.
Founded by Kathryn, who is a mindfulness and meditation teacher, wife, mother, and adventurer, Scented Fable offers handcrafted beeswax candles designed to bring stillness, joy and connection.
Rooted in ethical, natural and sustainable practices, each candle is made in small batches in Auckland using 100% natural, ethically sourced New Zealand beeswax, lead-free cotton wicks, and non-toxic fragrances.

Store Pick Up allows you to order online and pick up your order in-store, without incurring any delivery fees.
Your order will be ready the next business day, and our pick up hours are 10AM – 5PM Monday to Friday.

Online orders are dispatched Monday to Friday. Allow 5 - 10 business days for international deliveries.
