David Brosnahan
David Brosnahan's art is deeply grounded in Māori Heritage, however, with a unique twist.
As David enjoys learning about other cultures, he spent a period of time in Taiwan to study Chinese art and culture before moving to Vietnam to study Vietnamese culture and art. He attributes his time abroad and his strong love for his own heritage to the unique blend of Asian and New Zealand/Māori that shines through into his art.
David enjoys working with native timbers from New Zealand. He is inspired by colours, with particular interest with colour harmony, and by curiosity.
