These native New Zealand Rewarewa wood utensils are designed and handcrafted by MZ Design using 100% sustainably managed timbers. Rewarewa grows up to 30 metres high, and is uniquely grained and figured with prominent medullary rays, making it easy to identify.
Marc Zuckerman of MZ Design is a self-taught woodworker based in Hokitika. His style is minimalist modern with a Pacific influence, drawing inspiration from New Zealand's natural environment.
Please note: Due to the unique nature of New Zealand's native rimu - the colouration and grain will vary in each spoon purchased.
