This beautiful tea towel features one of New Zealand's rarest flowers - the kakabeak.
Textile designer Ingrid Anderson has captured the unusual beauty of this strange bloom with her kakabeak tea towel, which can also be used as a wall hanging or tray cloth. The bold retro-cool design is printed on 100% natural fibre ‘cotton oatmeal’ fabric.
Did you know? Kakabeak is also called Parrot's Bill or Lobster Claw. It’s an endangered endemic New Zealand plant that’s now only found in the East Cape region and on Moturemu Island in the Kaipara Harbour.
