Hoe (paddle)

This beautiful Hoe (paddle) is inlaid with kauri and was hand crafted by Master Carver and designer Kerry Thompson - Ngāti Paoa.

Kerry Thompson is a leading carver with over thirty five years of experience and has exhibited and sold his work both locally and internationally.

Kerry is inspired by birds and animals and the unique qualities of materials that he works with, including wood, bone and stone. Kerry has also designed many graphic print works often depicting fish and birds.
