A hand blown work of art to grace your desk or catch the light on a windowsill.
The koru represents the unfurling frond of New Zealand’s silver fern. It symbolises new growth, new beginnings, the spirit of rejuvenation and peace.
Glass artist Lynden Over’s interpretation of koru is lush and evocative. The richly-coloured koru shape is encased in a clear glass orb, like a frond within a raindrop. Each paperweight is hand blown, so no two are ever the same.
Did you know? At Lynden’s studio in Taupo, molten glass is held at 1300°C for 13 hours to ensure it looks pure and clean.
A magnificent specimen for your art glass collection.
